In the pursuit of holiness, merely forsaking sinful desires will never be enough. Old desires need to be replaced by something more satisfying than sin.

If we grasp the “last days” in which we live, we will not only look more eagerly for Christ’s return, but we will live more faithfully in the days before he comes.

Whether we’re gathering to worship or scattering to spread the gospel, Jesus says the world will recognize us by how we love one another.
