Paul Maier Dr. Paul L. Maier is a widely respected historian. Until his retirement he served as the Russell H. Seibert Professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan University. He is the author of many books including In the Fullness of Time: A Historian Looks at Christmas, Easter, and the Early Church, as well as books for children, including, The Very First Christmas.
